La Rambla is Barcelona's most well-known street and it has a magnetic attraction for tourists from all over the world. Hotel Arc La Rambla is in the privileged position of being located both on the Ramblas and close to Barcelona's port area. The port area provides opportunities to view the many yachts moored in its marina, take a walk along the wooden pier and visit the shops and restaurants in the Maremagnum commercial centre. This area is popular amongst tourists, which is reflected in the higher prices in restaurants and shops. However, it is a good place to take a picnic and sit at the water's edge.

The hotel is also located close to Monument de Colom. This is a famous Barcelona landmark and is a useful marker to find your back to the foot of the Ramblas if you find yourself lost in the city.
The hotel is positioned close to the bottom of the Ramblas. Here, aside from all of the tourist attractions, it will also be possible to find many necessary amenities. These include banks, cash machines, internet cafés, pharmacies and a large supermarket.

How to travel from the airport to the hotel

Via Train: The RENFE train leaves the airport every half an hour and will take you to Passeig de Gràcia in 25 minutes. You can either use the T-Casual transport ticket from the airport (a ticket for 10 separate journeys on Barcelona public transport system) or you can buy a single fare ticket. You then change at Passeig de Gràcia onto the Green Line metro and travel three stops to Drassanes. Your hotel is then a few minutes walk from the metro.
