Carrie Prejean dropped from Whippany event, says TMZ

The gossip web site TMZ is reporting that disgraced beauty queen Carrie Prejean has been dropped from "Defenders of the Family," a conservative event to be held tonight at the Hanover Marriot in Hanover.

We're guessing it's because the former Miss California USA has been ensnared in yet another controversy - this time it's a solo sex tape.

The tape, which first surfaced during settlement negotiations with her former pageant bosses, purportedly features Prejean in a less than conservative light. When the pageant's lawyer disclosed the alleged tape, Prejean walked away with nothing. She had sued the pageant for religious discrimination (and had been countersued by pageant organizers).

A spokesman for the New Jersey Family Policy Council told TMZ they wouldn't say if they canceled or if Prejean did.

Ummm, we're guessing it was the former.
