Additionally, he has participated in the Zaragoza Ecozine Festival since its founding in 2007 with the intention of exploring climate change and environmental issues through cinema. Generación Buñuel, Lorca, Dalí” focuses on the lives and friendships of Spanish intellectuals and artists Buñuel, Salvador Dalí, and Federico García Lorca. The film centers around the influence of the Spanish Civil War on the friend group. It draws on the work of writer Max Aub, whose unfinished project on Buñuel resulted in the production of thousands of interviews with the filmmaker and those in his life. “Generación Buñuel, Lorca, Dalí” recovers these conversations and combines them with archival material to highlight the legacies of Buñuel, Lorca, and Dalí.

The Poynter Fellowship in Journalism was established by Nelson Poynter, who received his master’s degree in 1927 from Yale. The fellowship brings to campus distinguished reporters, editors and others who have made important contributions to the media. Among recent Poynter fellows are Penny Lane, Michael Shnayerson, and Eve Ensler.
