The Circus Starring: Britney Spears is Godney’s first tour since 5 years already.
It became the highest grossing tour in the United Stated.
Kicking off with like a real Ringmaster our girl owned the stage (that was in the middle of the crowd).
Performing her first song of her first tour since 5 years.
Britney performed as well new songs as old songs, more likely Blackout songs.
Including “Ooh Ooh Baby / Hot As Ice” “Get Naked” “Piece Of Me” “Radar” “Freakshow”.
Spears acted like she was in a real circus, containing clowns, acrobates and more. Using tricks during the “Ooh Ooh Baby / Hot As Ice” performance.
Britney her favorite song to perform is “Boys” so she performed it again at this tour.
Spears only performed “Circus” “Womanizer” “Radar (Bonus Track)” “If U Seek Amy" and at certain places “Mannequin”.
Almost every single costume has got diamonds including the “Ooh Ooh Baby / Hot As Ice” costume which is made of Swarovski diamonds, worth over more then €130.000 (!).
The tour was sponsored by Big Apple.
Despite the lip-syncing rumors, The Circus Tour was a commercial succes. We, the fans, we don’t care if our queen isn’t singing live, as long as she’s entertaining us, we’re happy.
And The Circus Tour is a show full of entertainment!
“Piece of Me” was performed in a stage. Britney did tricks with her legs, used the poles…she just used every single corner in the cage. To me this performance is one of the most fierce performances of Britney and that’s why it’s my favorite.

During the tour no “Oops!…I Did it Again” songs were performed.
I’m sure I’m not lying when I tell you, that “Everytime” was a heartbreaking performance. She sat on a huge umbrella singing.
Britney also covered songs from Duffy and Alanis Morisette.
Also she performed “Do Somethin’” for the first time ever.

This was my FIRST tour I ever attented on in general, since then I’ve seen James Blunt, Madonna, Tokio Hotel and more. I can promise you; Our queen may playback but she gives such a show, your faves could never give…
And of course breakdowns in songs like “…Baby One More time" and "Toxic” couldn’t be missed

The tour NEVER got an official DVD which is sad, since most of her fans (including me) admire the tour as it contains amazing costumes, effects and a smiling Britney in a cage ;)
The Circus Tour was one of the highest grossing tour in America during it’s year (2009).
Spears’ also visited Australia causing commotion about the lip-synching fact. Reporters claimed eveyrone went home halfway the concert.
Which was later confirmed to be false.

It was my first show in my whole live and I was shocked(!) of how somebody can have so much energy on stage, having the bets tour effects, backdrops and best theme.
The highlights were def. “I’m a Slave 4 U” (I loved the whole center-ring when it was on fire) - “Circus” and “…Baby One More Time”
I would rate this show 9/10 being a shame having NO DVD
