Hello guys, these day theres a lot of newcomers in steemit. Today I would like to share some tip that I learn that can be used for the newbie. Btw I'm not addressing myself as a whale or senior in this platform. I just want to share a couple things that I know.

Upgrading Your Steem Power

As a newbie, you did'nt have a massive amount of Steem Power. Before this I just targetting how much amount that I can earn by posting anything. There's no quality in my post. I forgot about the steem power can make you powerful here. The thing that you should know is upgrading your steem power first. You should know that its a long journey to have a massive amount of SP unless you put some cash in it.

Make a research

Before you start posting, try to read a popular post or a post by a whale and learn something from them. Also find the right theme for your post. For example, if you want to post about education just post about it. Actually you can post a multiple things but if you post just for a one theme. The audience already know what they want from your article. I also did this mistake, we learn together.

Make a connection

Based on above statement, you can make a loyal audience to come visiting your post. This is necessary for your long term objective to achieve your goal in this platform. Then, you will have a good connection between other steemian.

Join a Contest

I don't care if you have talent or not, but try to join a contest. Its not about winning but for the experience. You did'nt know if you are not trying. I also did not have a talent in photography but I tried to join daily photography contest. There's a lot of contest in Steemit such as photography contest, poem, art and etc. Maybe later I will post a list of a contest.

Join a community/team

It will be powerful if you have a team that can support each other. There's a lot of team such as #steemstem and #adsactly or national teams.

Avoid Spamming

A lot of new user do this thing. I think you don't spam your post in other steemian comment section or trying to upvote for upvote. This is not the way to get an upvote or a follower.

You should give a good comment or a good thought about their post. It is proved that you have read all their content. Its show that you are not just drop a spam while hoping they to follow and upvote you.
