KSW 40 results: Mariusz Pudzianowski dominates UFC veteran Jay Silva

Mariusz Pudzianowski continued his winning ways, as the former Strongest Man won his second straight mixed martial arts (MMA) bout after taking out former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Jay Silva at KSW 40 in Dublin, Ireland earlier today.

Silva was a late replacement for another UFC vet, James McSweeny, but ultimately couldn’t do enough to sway the judges in his favor. Using a mixture of striking and wrestling, Mariusz showed he can bring it when it counts, as he now has four wins over former UFC Heavyweights.

Pudzianwoski seems to have his feet firmly cemented with KSW, so a move to UFC -- or anywhere else, for that matter — doesn’t seem likely. That said, one can’t help but to wonder if Pudz has anything to offer UFC’s current slate of big men.
