Thomas Harris joined Motive Partners in 2019 and is a Principal on the Motive Ventures investment team based out of the London office. At Motive, Tom is responsible for analyzing and executing investment opportunities with a focus on identifying trends and growth for Motive portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Motive, Thomas spent six years at Accenture Strategy. Whilst at Accenture, Thomas supported $3B in M&A transactions, $13B in capital restructuring and led the investment case for over $250M of internal bank investments into new financial technologies. Thomas specialized in digital banking and ventures, where he supported the strategy, design and investment case for four UK digital banks, and the execution of $15M in corporate venture capital investments. Thomas founded and led Accenture's digital banking research capability, providing market information and insight to global media outlets, clients and Accenture leadership, on the performance of the emerging digital banking industry. Thomas served as a mentor to early stage start-ups through the FinTech Innovation Labin London, where he specialized in fundraising and commercialization strategies for financial technology businesses. Thomas remains an active investor and advisor to early-stage companies.

Thomas has completed CFA I, the Legal Practice Course (Corporate track) at The University of Law, London and holds an LLB in Law and Business Management from The University of Leeds.
